What does your husband do??

I know this is kind of random, but I was thinking about the fact that I don't really know what your husbands do (job wise). So I was just wondering...where does he work? Or what is he going to school for? My hubby currently works for University of Phoenix as a Finance Counselor. That's going to change by next year, but for now that's what he does. So leave me a comment and let everybody know! Go husbands! Thanks for taking care of us!

Good call on this post!

TJ is graduating (IN THREE WEEKS!) in Construction Management from BYU. He will continue working for a big commercial construction company called Big-D Construction as a project engineer. Basically, he is in charge of coordinating between the sub-contractors and the architechts as well as doing some estimating for costs. His current project is called MidTown Village... think the Gateway mall, only this is on State Street in Orem. And yes, thanks for taking care of us, hubbies!!

My husband has decided that orthodontics is not for him and he's going to go back to school and become a college geography teacher.

Ha! I would die. Although, Jeff would like to teach geography (at a community college) when he retires. How about Dixie??

Neil is graduating on the 13th from the U of U in Consumer & Community Studies. He will be able to do a few different things with his degree. He could go into finance, consumer protection, or something to do with fraud. He's planning on doing finance though. On top of going to school, he works full time at 1-800 CONTACTS as the team leader over the auditing dept. Fun fun!

And yeah, hooray for husbands & all their hard work!!

Very good post and comments!

Corky is a Capt. in the U.S. Army and is in the Transportion Corps. When he was in Iraq, he was the guy in charge and navigating the convoys that drove all over the place. Luckily his position changed and is now in a staff/desk job. He is basically an organizer for training, meetings, and bringing other peoples work together. I don't get it and doubt I ever will....but he brings home the bacon.

Anson graduated with a Bachelor's from Dixie in Computer Science/Information Technology. He works for an ad agency doing front-end web programming (not the design, the implementing it to the internet) and some back-end web programming as well. I don't quite understand it all either! But we're so glad he's done with school and on to doing something he really loves!

This is a great question Heather, I was wondering about it, too-- I even asked Crystal about her husband last week. Thanks for bringing it up!

Kevin is going to school to become a Conservation Officer for the DNR (Dept. of Natural Resources) for the state of MN. What's that eh?
Basically he will patrol the lakes rivers and all other state land for poachers & anyone breaking the law. Making sure everyone is licenced to hunt, fish,& ride legally. It's his dream job & he'll do wonderful in it.
So on top of school right now he works as the head of security at the hospital by our house.

Very good question Heather!

Erik can do anything, fix anything. He can build a house starting with clearing the land to the final, tiniest details. But currently he's doing 2 jobs. He pours concrete and erects steel buildings (they look like airplane hangers), and he also sells them.

Then we also have a side graphic design business called Dana Six. He designs anything for business logo's to websites to video editing. It is really a talent and I love that my husband can do it!

Although - I think he would also really love what Emma's husband is going to be doing!!

Jason is in senior management for Lowe's....I think after getting this store up and going here in Vernal he could bypass the rest of the steps and go straight for store manager. They do things a little different here in Vernal. He's more like an assistant manager than his title "zone manager".

Tom is an Account Executive for a Mortgage Bank. He works for the people with the money and he markets their programs to Loan Officers. He's also going to school (and has been for a long time because of some health issues we couldn't figure out for a LONG time) It's taking us a while, but oh well :) It was fun reading what other husbands do as I went down the list. (even though I don't know anyone but Natalie...Cory is my cousin)
